Thank you for sharing your thoughts about rcm or reliability centered maintenance. I am glad to stop by your site and know more about rcm or reliability centered maintenance. Keep it up! This is a good read. You have such an interesting and informative page.
Reliability Centered Maintenance can be used to create a cost-effective maintenance strategy to address dominant causes of equipment failure. It is a systematic approach to defining a routine maintenance program composed of cost-effective tasks that preserve important functions.
RCM Blitz™ founder and facilitator, Doug Plucknette, is the author of Reliability Centered Maintenance using...RCM Blitz™ as well as his latest book Clean, Green and Reliable: The Role of Maintenance in Sustainability.

rcm reliability centered maintenanceAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14153776053756305209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5332312932983921452.post-48531928413179943952011-11-14T11:28:15.876+11:002011-11-14T11:28:15.876+11:00I was in the understanding that a strategy will te...I was in the understanding that a strategy will tell us which route to follow for the minimum cost to get to the final destination in case the normal route fails to get us there or the plan is interrupted at any given point. In other words if a machine breaks causing a stop or delay in the production process, we should have one or more alternate routes to get to the final point (continue the production process from where it was interrupted) and our best choice of the route will be the optimal (less overall cost). Any interruption to the planned process should pose different strategies to follow and not all of them will be cost effective.
Is it true or I was wrong in my perception or it is just a semantics issue.cbthesweethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09116993659260862133noreply@blogger.com
